Young At Heart – MFT Stamps

Did you catch the new MFT Stamps card kit, Walk in the Park, that was released yesterday? If not, I’m encouraging you to head over to the MFT blog and see what’s new. It is a fun kit with unique products for your stash. For today’s sample, I used a few different products including several add-on products to show you how you can use these elements together. It is a more clean and simple design than my card yesterday. I really enjoy the versatility of the card kits.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Adhere an A2 sized panel of Lazy Day onto an A2 card base.
  2. On a white cardstock panel, stencil the Layered Treeline Stencil with light green and dark green inks. I accidentally shifted the stencil a bit on my darker trees so they have a slight halo, but I thought it looked ok so I did not redo it.
  3. Die cut the stenciled panel with the largest die in the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.
  4. Die cut the panel again with a die in the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I used the sketch challenge #700 as inspiration. Ink blend light blue around the circular die cut.
  5. Stamp a sentiment from Walk in the Park around the bend of the circle.
  6. Adhere the background on the card front and add foam tape behind the circular piece to help it stand out.
  7. Die cut the pieces for the swing set (Swings and Things Die-namics), sandbox (On the Playground Die-namics), and duck (Water Features Die-namics) from white cardstock and color everything with copic markers. With tiny die cut pieces, it is easier to die cut from white and add color than to use a bunch of colored cardstock scraps.
  8. Adhere the scene together.
  9. Stamp another sentiment from Walk in the Park and die cut it with the coordinating sentiment die-namics. Adhere with foam tape.
  10. Embellish with blue enamel dots.

Isn’t that sentiment so fun?! I hope you are inspired to check out and purchase the new card kit. Thanks for being here!
